Stock Shelley Std 4'6" - The mattress is ok, but we don't know if we have to turn it or not.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We would always recommend that you turn your new mattress weekly for the first 12 weeks while the mattress settles. After that we would recommend that you turn it each season.

I'm sorry to hear that the mattress that was delivered to you was too small. I can see from the notes on your order that you have today spoken to one of my colleagues and you are now going to pop into your local showroom to look at an alternative mattress. Once you have made your decision, we will do our utmost to ensure that the replacement is delivered to you as quickly as possible.

Stock Shelley Std 4'6" - I have only had it a few weeks and suffered from a bad back after a fall but it seems to be improving so hopefully the new firm mattress is helping. It seems very comfortable and I am pleased with it.

Stock Shelley Std 4'6" - The product itself was fine- however having found the mattress to be too hard I arranged for it to be returned- the company took an incredibly long time to organise a pick up and only sped up the process when another item they had delivered proved to be faulty and in need of replacement.

Stock Shelley Std 5' - A great night sleep...wonderful.

Stock Shelley Std 4'6" - Overall good although was given wrong date for delivery by the salesgirl but this was sorted so ok

Negative:sweating heavily in the night since sleeping on this mattress so v disappointing

Stock Shelley Std 3' - seems great so far

Stock Shelley Std 3' - Ordered for a holiday house. Order came in 2 deliveries instead of 1. I wasn't aware of this before i had accepted 1st delivery so had to travel back down to the house for next delivery which was very annoying. 2nd delivery was 40 minutes late of time slot even though i had specified on numerous occasions i had to leave at set time. men that put the beds up didn't tell me there were 2 height slots...they just put up on highest...i wanted lowest so had to spend hours remaking them. F and B ok...but delivery very disappointing.

Especially liked the fact that the delivery company ring to arrange a date to deliver then ring again on the morning of the date arranged to say what time they will arrive. They've arrived on time on both occasions that I've had deliveries from Feather & Black recently.

Stock Shelley Std 3' - Excellent company and really great products!!

Stock Shelley Std 3' - Again I ordered the must similar mattress to the 2 we have from F&B. This one has a few less springs, but is your new standard grade pocket sprung. I believe F&B have shortened the depths of the springs and added more padding on the top and bottom, making a more cost effective product as far as you are concerned. This mattress is softer, less solid, lighter and not of the same quality as the old standard one you sold a few years ago. In addition the matress 'swims' around on the newer (lower quality) frame. Most unsatisfactory. But what can I do? You are producing lower grade goods for a similar price as before and passing the off as F&B quality. Unfortunaley F&B have come down Market and I shall check else where before buying again.

Stock Shelley Std 4'6" - i ordered a particular mattress because of quick delivery options it took weeks and weeks to arrive. I had to chase it up, extremely disappointed with the service and had no official apology. not impressed at all.

Having looked at your account I can see that we have let ourselves and you down. Having ordered a stock mattress, there was a problem with the stock which was not communicated to you. This is not acceptable and we have recently put in new systems to automate notification of this sort of delay. These should be live in the next couple few months. At the moment it is a manual process and unfortunately was overlooked on this occasion. At the time we were putting in a system upgrade and it seems that your order fell into a black hole. We are terribly sorry for this mix up and break down in communication and would like to give you a free set of bedlinen which we hope will help to ease the pain of the whole situation. I will email you directly to get details of what you would like and again so sorry for your disappointment.

Stock Shelley Std 4'6" - The beds are excellent, but the delivery options severely limited. On my second order, I asked whether it would be possible to accommodate a particular date as I was only going to be at the delivery address for a limited period of time. I was told 'it might be possible' and I would be contacted, but I received no further communication until the date had passed. As a result, I had to inconvenience an acquaintance to be present for delivery and had to pay £25 for the assembly charge. Customer services seemed mostly unbothered about the restricted delivery days and wanted to offer some paltry linen voucher. There was no attempt to acknowledge that the delivery options were really poor. Following 2 experiences of completely inflexible delivery options, I will not be ordering from Feather and Black again despite the excellent beds.
