Alternatively we will assemble your furniture and take away all the packaging for an additional £25. Please choose the assembly option in the shopping basket to take advantage of this service.

23 January 2012Canterbury Std Ivory with Brass 5' - Perfectly good bed - but I do not like the support under the bed in the middle. The result of compromising the strength of the central support beam? It makes sliding the bed v difficult, and under-bed storage difficult.
Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback which I have passed on to our product/buying team. As you correctly say, the centre leg is there to add stability and strength to the bed. We may look into changing the design to not have a centre leg in the future but we do not want to compromise the quality and strength of the bed.

Thank you for your recent feedback. I have investigated your complaint and discussed it at length with our customer service team. Your order was delivered and did unfortunately have a damaged finial. We replaced the bed straight away and assembled it free of charge to check that everything was ok but sadly you rejected this item for a damaged finial also. We then arranged for a 3rd replacement of which the customer service team unpacked and checked, and added additional packaging to make sure it got to you safely. It seems somehow that this replacement was still unsatisfactory and you asked to keep the bed but also get a full refund. We did then give you a substantial refund against the bed you chose to keep and feel that we could not have done anything further to please you during this process.
